Owner, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Malaka Harper

A heart that has always been drawn to helping others navigate life’s challenges with compassion.

My therapy style is built on developing a genuine and compassionate relationship with my client. I value working collaboratively with my clients to help them grow and become more self-aware.

Though I take a non-directive approach, I challenge my clients to promote self-reflection and development. It is crucial to develop a space that is culturally competent, where people can heal and discover themselves and their unique path to fulfillment.

I utilize an integrative approach that explores how past or present issues impact the mind, body, and spirit. If we want to grow and become better, it’s imperative that we address the whole person.

My approach is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), though I also integrate various evidence-based techniques tailored to each individuals unique needs.
